Jackeline Pivaral, O.D.

Dr. Jackeline Pivaral pursued her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Florida International University. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, Dr. Pivaral graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2023. During her time at NSU, she was recognized for superior leadership and academic achievement with the Don E. Williamson Memorial Scholarship and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa international optometric honor society and the Gold Key international optometric honor society. Dr. Pivaral served as president of the Florida Optometric Student Association for two consecutive years and received the Student Legislative Award for her efforts at the 2023 FOA convention. She completed her residency at the Orlando VA Medical Center, specializing in ocular disease with a focus on glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, as well as sub-specialties in traumatic brain injuries and low vision. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
